Charitable Support in Our Community

Edney Ryan is proud to support the work of selected community and charitable groups. Currently we support the following organisations.

Racing for the Bushfire Appeal

Balmoral Swim for Cancer

The Balmoral Swim raises money for the Childrens Cancer Institute Australia. It is one of the few open water races to be held within the beauty of Sydney Harbour, making it a safe event for all comers. The event includes a 1K swim, family and corporate relays and a juniors event.

Mercy Ships Australia

Mercy Ships exists to address the critical shortage of health care services in the developing world. More than 10,000 free surgeries and other transformational health care services are performed for some of the poorest people on earth each year by Mercy Ships.

NSW Cancer Council

Cancer Council NSW is a community funded, community focused cancer charity dedicated to the defeat of cancer. Through the development of prevention strategies, research into new treatments and cures, and by providing clinical and emotional support to those affected by cancer, they Cancer Council works towards realising the vision of a society where lives are not cut short by or their quality diminished by cancer.

Raise Foundation

Raise improves the lives of young people facing profound challenges, and our mentoring programs provide a community of support around them. Mentoring from a positive role model provides a nurturing pathway for teenagers to feel supported through tough times, particularly if they feel they can’t talk to other significant adults in their lives. The power of having someone neutral to talk to, who really listens and actually hears you, is extraordinary. Mentors can change thinking and save lives.

Australian Marist Centre for Overseas Aid

This charity exists to support third world poverty alleviation, development projects and needy persons principally in Third World countries; in particular to women, children and the handicapped. Current projects in the Asia Pacific region can be viewed at www.maristmissions.com.
