The median house price in Sydney is 39% ($248,500) higher than median house prices in Melbourne (the second highest capital city).

Median Unit Prices

Sydney’s median unit price is 39% ($189,900) higher than Melbourne’s. Sydney median unit prices have consistently been higher than Melbourne median house prices since February 2012.
